Obituary of Duane G. Goble

Duane G. Goble, 72, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 24, 2020. He was born on April 19, 1948 to Hollis and Clara (Widau) Goble in Dublin, Indiana. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1966, in Cambridge City, Indiana and went on to proudly serve in the United States Air Force. He then moved to Tucson and graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS degree in Agriculture and a specialty in Racetrack Management (1978). Duane held positions in racing management in Spokane, Washington and Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent the remainder of his career in insurance sales after returning to Tucson and making it his permanent home. Duane is survived by his wife, Janet (Large), son Colin Goble, daughter Kristen (Jonathon) Aguilar, three granddaughters whom he adored, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Robert Goble, Reba Thom, Leola Vance, Juanita Swim, Helena Tyree, Gerald Goble, Norma Hartman, and Donna Gibson. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Brings Funeral Home in Tucson, Arizona.
