Obituary of Caleb Ryan Craig
Caleb was a grandson, son, brother, nephew, cousin and a friend to all. He care about all forms of life and looked for the good in everything.
One of the many things that will be missed is his beautiful smile. His smile was of pure joy not to be mistaken his devious grin, usually accompanied by a silent fart. Either smile was contagious and it was always followed by laughter.
Caleb had an ability to light up the room, no matter how serious the situation may have been. It's neary impossible to think of a time where he didn't have us laughing. Whether it'd be him gagging at his own booger he just flicked onto the car window or how he survived a teenage girls hormonal attack becasue he read off her failing report card on a crowded bus. Both are true stories.
Growing up with Caleb and Haley was amazing, they were a beautiful addition to our family. There was rarely a day that we didn't spend together. We were truly blessed to have each other whether we were hanging out in his decked-out Star Wars bedroom playing games (if you guys ever saw his room it was epic), completing family chores, watching movies at each others homes, playing the newest bootlegged video games, supporting each other through school events from elementary to high school. Enjoying family vacations to Rocky Point. We always had each other to lean on even when we went our own ways.
Caleb had a way of remaining true to himself and his morals as he navigated through life. He appreciated nature and enjoyed hiking through it's natural beauty. He was always determined to follow his own path starting with the discovery of his artistic expression through drawing and welding in high school. His passion for welding saved him from losing his pest control job. They saw something in him that he didn't even know he had. A talent. You see, Caleb couldn't kill anything with a heart but he sure could maintain their equipment. Later, he enlisted in the United States Navy with great pride finishing at the top of his A-School graduating class. He was able to touch many lives, leaving an everlasting impression wherever he went.
Caleb spent his dash showing the people he loved how to care for one another. He was the perfect example of a loyla and true friend. His love for all of us will never be forgotten. So, let's spend the rest of our dash living for Caleb, he would be proud of how he lived his.
