Obituary of Ellyn Alton

Ellyn Alton, "Jeanie," 60, died on June 19, 2020, with her immediate family by her side in her Tucson home.

She was born May 18, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona to Oliver "Jimmy" and Betty "Dye" Diack,

Jeanie grew up in Hereford, Arizona and went to Buena High School. She married, moved to Oregon and had a daughter, Nicole, and in 1979 she moved back to Arizona to raise her daughter.   She had many occupational interests which included payrol administration but her passion was bartending where she could be social and lend an ear to anyone she met.

Her hobbies and interests included being a pool shark, crafting/art/drawing, riding her Harley, and gardening.  She devoted much of her time to assisting her husband Mark Alton at their speed shop in Tucson. She loved being a mom to Nicole(41), and Nana to Tanner (21) and Mikaela (11) and Alivia (9). So proud in fact, she would tell anyone who would listen.

Jeanie and Mark Alton married in a beautiful backyard ceremony on June 28, 1997 surrounded by family and friends.  Their relationhsip spannned 24 years just shy of 23 years married.  They found great joy in the smallest things, always laughing together, skipping hand in hand finding adventure.  Some of their joint passions were hunting and riding their Harley's together, seeking out new nooks and crannies to explore.

Jeanie is survived by her husband, Mark Alton, mother Betty Trantham, brother Rusty (James) Diack, daughter Nicole Paz, and 3 grandchildren.  She was preceed in dath by her father Jimmy.
