Obituary of Patrick Horner

Patrick was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada to Catherine (Tully) and Harry Horner. Patrick was the third of six children. Patrick and his family moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1957.

He met his beloved wife Colleen and were married for 40 years.

Patrick is survived by his two daughters Brigid (Travis) and Kelly (Michael) and his five grandchildren: Madden, Chase, Brianna, Isabella, and Logan. He is also survived by his brothers Barry (Pam) and Steve (Zenda); his sisters Cathy (Jon) and Sue (Paul). He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother David (Michele), and wife Colleen.

Patrick was a commercial baker for 40 years, he was famous for his molasses cookies and raisin bread. Patrick loved photography, taking drives with his wife in their convertible and playing golf. He loved being a grandfather; taking the grandkids for new cowboy boots each year, building a two-story tree house, and trips to California. Patrick truly enjoyed every moment of life.

Patrick was blessed to receive a double lung transplant in 2013 through the gift of organ donation. The family encourages you to add a donor designation to your driver’s license and register as an eye, organ, and tissue donor on the DonateLife AZ Registry. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Donor Network of Arizona.

A memorial mass has been set for Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 215 South Craycroft Road.
