John Jean, 85, of Tucson, AZ died at the VA State Veteran’s Home of Tucson AZ on November 03, 2019.
Born 16 May 1934 in London England, he was the son of William Watson Jean and Naomi Annie-Maude Cobby.
John immigrated to the United States of America aboard the USS Liberte in 1952 at the age of 17. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 26 years followed by 17 years with Immigration and Naturalization Services.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen Jean of Tucson, AZ, daughters Karen (Dan) Oblinger of Fenton, MI, and Shari Jean of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by four grandchildren Jennifer (Nicholas) Levely of Grand Blanc, MI, Matthew Oblinger of Nashville, TN, Nicholas Oblinger of Fenton, MI, and Jonathan Jean of Tucson, AZ, and four great-grandchildren Tyler, Alyssa, and Carter Levely of Grand Blanc, MI and Xander Valenzuela-Jean of Tucson, AZ.
John will be dearly missed by his family; he was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his Lord, his family, and his friends. Cheers Dad!
