Obituary of Stella Medina Day

Stella M Day, age 85, moved on to the Lord on September 15, 2019 peacefully. She is survived by her husband Frank Day of 59 years – retired Air Force. She also leaves behind her son Albert Lucas (Judy); Daughters Cyndy Lucas (Bob), Catherine Day (Fred); Grandchildren Mandy Stidham (Lucas), Julia Salas (Cesar), Christopher Lucas (Karen); Great-grandchildren, Joseph Salas (Jasmine), Isabella Salas, CJ Lucas, Ryker Stidham, Ryla Stidham; Beloved sister Ofie Wolsey (Wichita, Kansas) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was employed by Davis Monthan/Vantage West Credit Union for 31 years. She touched many lives with her humor, kindness and undying love for people. She will be truly missed by all that met and knew her. 
Lord, if roses grow in heaven, pick a bunch for us. Please place them in our Mother’s arms and tell her they are from us. Tell her how we love her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek, and hold her hand for a while. Remembering her is so easy, we do it every day, but there is an ache within our hearts that will never go away.
