Obituary of L E Miller
L E Miller was born September 1, 1937, in Lee County, MS, to Lawrence E. and Viola M. Miller. After graduating from Guntown High School, he attended Mississippi State University where he was the editor of The Reflector (college newspaper). After college, he worked for American Bosch/United Technologies in Columbus, MS, until he retired in 1997 as VP of Sales and Marketing. He then moved to Tucson, AZ, where he was owner of Computers Plus and a realtor with Tierra Antigua Realty. L E coached youth sports for forty-five years including baseball, basketball, football and soccer. He was a member of Sabino Road Baptist Church in Tucson and served as a deacon, usher, Sunday School teacher and on many committees. He was a devout Christian who touched the lives of many people during his life and continued his personal associations through social media. He died on September 11, 2019 and is survived by his wife, Karen, children, Leigh Nickoles (Gary), Eric Anthony Miller, Martin Lawrence Miller, Amy Michele Brande (Bert), Alden Michael Lambert, Matthew Elliot Miller, and Mark Edward Miller; grandchildren, Bradley Nickoles (Lauren), Alaina Nickoles, Ashley De Jonghe, Hayden De Jonghe and Kennedy Brande; and great-grandson, Axell Nickoles. L E is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Gifford.
