Obituary of Eileen N. Eudy

Eudy, Eileen N., 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed away peacefully from this life into eternity with Jesus, with family by her side on Monday June 17, 2019.  Eileen was born Eileen Naomi Sparks on June 4, 1935 to Lester H. Sparks and Eva Black Sparks in Camden, New Jersey.  She was an only child.  In 1951 at the age of 16, she moved with her parents to Inglewood, California where she met her husband to be, Edward L. Eudy Jr.  They married in September 1953 and lived in Torrance, California for 34 years where they raised two daughters, Teri and Laurie.  Eileen was a wonderful homemaker and supportive to her family.  After retirement Eileen and Ed lived in Bend, Oregon for 17 years until 2004 when they moved to Tucson, Arizona to be near their daughter and son-in-law.  Eileen is survived by her daughters Teri Bixler of Sacramento, CA, and Laurie Reich (Jerry) of Tucson, AZ; granddaughter Lisa Ribeiro (Andrew) of Berkeley Lake, GA; grandson Kevin Bixler of San Francisco, CA; granddaughter Kristen Jeffrey (Joel) of Austin, TX; great grandson Henry Noel Ribeiro of Berkeley Lake, GA; great granddaughters Sienna Lee Jeffrey & Ava Rose Jeffrey both of Austin, TX.  Eileen was pre-deceased by her husband of 61 years, Edward L. Eudy Jr.; and parents.  Funeral service to be held at Bring’s Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway, Tucson, Arizona  85710, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019.  Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix on July 2, 2019.
