Obituary of Caroline Rose Nye

Caroline Rose (Assalone) Nye 94, was born in Pennsylvania, November 22, 1924; died June 5, 2019. She married Rudolph Arthur Nye on June 14, 1941. Caroline and Rudy moved to Tucson in 1952. Besides raising 6 daughters, she owned and ran Chipmunk Day Nursery for 12 years. She was preceded by her husband of 64 years Rudolph Arthur Nye and by her number 3 daughter, Ruby Carolyn Parker. She is survived by her remaining 5 daughters, Donna Varney, Alice (Phil) Colombo, Dorothy (Roger) Sprik, Raelene (Donal) Cavanaugh, and Pamela (Chuck) Bowman; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral service 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, with Pastor George Gomez of Arlington, Texas officiating. Burial to follow in Tucson Memorial Park South Lawn.
