Obituary of John Dietrich Gallegos

Gallegos, John Dietrich age 70, entered eternal life on June 1, 2019. Born in Tucson, AZ on August 23, 1948 to Marie and Alfonso Gallegos. John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cynthia Gallegos. Children: Shannon (Rick), John (Anna), Marc, Elizabeth (Michael), Laura (Guillermo), James (Shari), Christina, Amy (Doug). Sisters: Gloria (Nick), Angie, Anna (Henry). 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

John was proud to be part of the 1st Calvary Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He enjoyed many occupations especially his work in mechanics. John survived a spinal cord injury in 1989 and has made sure to enjoy his life to the fullest. John's pastimes included flying model airplanes at the Tucson Radio Control Club, singing in church choir, and visiting with friends and family. He was loved greatly and will be missed dearly. 

Please join us Friday June 7th 4-8pm for a visitation at Brings on Broadway. Funeral mass on Saturday June 8th 10am at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church followed by a reception at VFW #549
