Tammy and I send our deepest sympathy to the Eiserman Family at this time of great sadness and loss... Aunt Pat was so indescribably special, that she is extremely difficult to remember with words, or even pictures. Although her memorial video is truly amazing.. And we loved it! Thank you!!!
Having Aunt Pat and Uncle John as Godparents was such a blessing! Their Faith in God never wavered. Their love of and commitment to our Holy Catholic Church, even in dark times, inspired me. I rather doubt that either one of them ever voluntarily missed Mass, even though they often did not agree with either the priest or church construction... and boy oh boy, did Aunt Pat let you know. In fact, the last time Tammy and I spent time with them together, was going to Mass after Chase and Shannon's wedding. What a wonderful and powerful memory...
We feel so blessed by God's gift of Aunt Pat to the world. Although we rarely saw one another, and very rarely just the two of us, she and I had a very special bond (at least from my perspective). First and foremost was our Catholic faith. But even more, perhaps, was Windy Acres... After all, she found this little bit of heaven here on earth.
After Uncle John's passing, I would call her late at night and we would talk for hours. I loved her perspective and sense of humor. She was always so upbeat. As her illness grew stronger and she needed more care, our late night chats also ceased, and that's what I miss the most.
I could go on with countless hilarious, unbelievable but true stories, as could so many of us who loved her so deeply, but I am only going share one... Aunt Pat and I were at a funeral years ago, I don't even remember whose, doesn't matter. Anyhow she said to me, " Jim, people always think I am nuts at funerals". "Why is that Aunt Pat?" I asked. "Because I always say that the luckiest person here is in the box !" Wow,what faith she had!!!
It is kind of hard for us to be too sad hearing how her disease had progressed. We always knew that she was extremely well cared for by her loving family. And knowing that she was going to where we are all trying to get to... Reunited with our Lord at last! And now, Aunt Pat will be the "luckiest one at her funeral...

We grew up at Windy Acres and always were made to feel like just two more members of the family. We ate many meals in Pat's kitchen during the summers. Our hearts to out to all of her children. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
