To the family of Mr. Percy,
My family and I mourn with you at the loss of your loved one, we loved him too. Mr. Percy never met a stranger, you were a friend from the time you said hello. That's how it was with me and my family meeting Mr. P as we called him. He and my Grandson Elijah were instant friends and any time we came to the Casino together, he had to go see Mr. Percy. We will miss him dearly.
Mr. Percy was a Veteran just as I am even though we were in different branches of the military. He called me "The Army of One"; we would both just laugh. Every night after bingo if we were not winners, I would say goodbye and ask Mr. P if he was coming back tomorrow and he would always reply "Yeah, I'm no Quitter". We'd both laugh and be happy to see each other at the next bingo night.
If there's Bingo in Heaven, I know Mr. Percy is waiting to yell "Bingo" at the top of his lungs. RIP Mr. Percy, bingo will never be the same. We loved you, but God loved you best.
Carolyn, Nisey and Elijah Evans
