I will miss Judyth's smiling face and welcoming presence. I knew her through quilting and church. She was a dynamic member of our Old Pueblo Quilters group for many years and a cherished leader at Unity Church of Peace. Judyth was a blessing to all of us.
Unfortunately I didn’t know Judyth long, but she was so full of life I wish I would have known her forever. When my son, Devin, married into the family I got to know Judyth much better. Couple of lunches out listening to her fabulous stories, lunch at her beautiful home with homemade soup and scones and of course at some of the family gatherings. What else can you say about such a beautiful lady, inside and out, that the obituary and the video didn’t include. She endured a hard couple of years with such grace and strength. I’m sure whoever met Judyth Willis fell in love with her, as I did. Smell the flowers, Judith, get a good book and may the sun always shine on your face.
I am so grateful that I knew Judyth. We got to know each other when we took classes together at Unity Spiritual Center of Peace and as members of this community. I was always impressed by her enthusiasm for and her commitment to practicing the spiritual tools we were learning together. I am so thankful for the time she served as our Sunday school teacher. She gave of herself lovingly and wholeheartedly. So many have been touched by her and we will hold her loving joyful smile and spirit within our hearts and in our memories. I send my most sincere condolences to her family.

I was privileged to know Judyth through the Old Pueblo Quilters and to enjoy her warmth, hospitality, and vital personality. I was very pleased that she was able to complete the Lone Star quilt after I taught the class. That and her other work always showed her devotion to getting it right. I hope there is a quilt guild in heaven. Best wishes to you and your family. We all will miss Judyth.
Please accept my condolences to your family. I hope that God’s promise of the resurrection brings you comfort during this very difficult time.
