Obituary of Michael Ernest Nunez

Michael Ernest Nunez, beloved father, grandfather and gentleman, peacefully passed away at his home in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 81 on October 28, 2018.

Born in Superior, Arizona, Michael honorably served in the United States Army and created a very special and meaningful life. His personal and professional achievements have all been led by his desire to help and his compassion for family, friends and acquaintances. Michael enjoyed life to its fullest and was always first in line to show respect and honor for the beliefs and celebration of others.

Michael was predeceased by his parents Teodore and Olivia (Quijada) Nunez, brother Arthur and sister Mercy. He is survived by his daughter Michelle, sons Mark and Gabriel and granddaughter Jillian.

A memorial mass will be held on November 16, 2018 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Superior, Arizona  for Michael Nunez and will begin with a Rosary and Eulogy at 10:30 with Mass at 11:00. Interment to follow in the Florence City Cemetery, Florence, Arizona.

The family is arranging a Celebration of Life Reception for Michael in Tucson, Arizona on December 14, 2018.

Everyone is welcome to any of the services and celebrations. They have all been created to honor Michael and share the love that he has for everyone that came into his life.
