Obituary of Reilly James Thacker

Reilly James Thacker entered this world July 19th, 1997. He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Susan George, James and Laura Thacker, his sister, Taylor Brown, and his loving brothers, Keegan Johnson, Zane Smith, Noah George, Cruz and Connor Thacker as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather William Thacker.

Reilly was born in Sierra Vista, AZ and attended Valley View Elementary School. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. After graduating the 8th grade, Reilly moved to Tucson where he attended Cienega High School graduating with high honors. He was an avid gun enthusiast and outdoors man. He was one of the kindest souls. Reilly had an infectious laugh lighting up a room with his humor and smile. Everyone who knew him loved him. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Reilly worked at Asencius and was married in February 2018. His life was taken on October 17th, 2018. His family is trying to find the strength to continue. Reilly will live in our hearts and our souls until we are reunited again.

A Catholic Mass will be held for Reilly at 10am at St. Rita of the Desert Catholic Church in Vail, AZ. Memorial Services will be held at Brings Funeral Home, November 6th at 1p.m. His ashes will be laid to rest at East Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
