Obituary of Edward J. Pawlowski

Edward Joseph Pawlowski died peacefully in Tucson on September 2, 2018 at the age of 78.

Ed is survived by his son Edward H. Pawlowski and his daughter-in-law Anne F. Pawlowski of Wimberley, Texas and his sister Mary Ann Boerner along with her husband Peter Boerner and their three children in Texas.  His beloved wife Carol L. Pawlowski preceded Ed in death. 

Ed was born on October 26, 1939 in Cornwall, NY to Edward J. and Anna J. Pawlowski.  He graduated from Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1957.  After high school he graduated from RCA Institute with an associate degree in electronics.  Ed worked for IBM for over forty years beginning in Poughkeepsie, NY and retiring in Tucson, AZ.   Ed had many patents and awards during his tenure at IBM.  In his free time he loved tinkering on boats, cars and anything mechanical, he was an avid fisherman that loved to travel and enjoyed his love of jazz music.   He was a dear neighbor, friend, co-worker, brother and father and will be missed.  

 A memorial is scheduled for Friday, September 7ths at 1 pm at Bring’s Funeral Home in Tucson, AZ.
