Obituary of Allan Paul Stockellburg
Our hearts were saddened by the passing of our loved one, Allan Paul Stockellburg, who departed this life peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones, Saturday, March 31st, at the age of 82.
Originally from Marlborough, MA, Mr. Stockellburg migrated to Tucson, AZ in 1972, in search of a better life for his family. A proud Army veteran and a AA-pro baseball player, he shed his uniforms to devote his life to his family. Active in his community, Mr. Stockellburg spent many years as an usher for his church and coaching girls softball. He not only wanted to pass on a love for the game, but empower girls to pursue their dreams and goals through the fundamentals of team sports. Mr. Stockellburg was also an avid bowler, who participated in several semi-pro tournaments as well as served on the board in his league.
Mr. Stockellburg leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife Valery, 4 sons Glen of Tucson, David (Arlene) United Arab Emirates, Andrew (Monica) of Amado, AZ and Donald of Tucson. He also leaves his 2 daughters Pamela (Michael) and Patricia of Tucson,11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
