Obituary of Donna L. Johnson

Donna L. Johnson, our wonderful mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2018 at the age of 87. Donna was born and raised in South Dakota, relocating to Tucson in 1968. She was a "stay at home Mom," a very special person who was known and loved for her wonderful sense of humor, her competitive spirit, and her creative talent. Donna is survived by her 5 children, Darnelle (Richard Goodsell), Gary, Kathleen, Mike, and Karen (John Waugh) who came together as a team to provide care for her when her life was changed by a stroke 3 years ago. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was pre deceased by her loving husband of 60 years Ken, who left this earth for his heavenly home 8 years ago and has been waiting patiently for his "butterfly" to join him. The family is very thankful to Pacificare Senior Living for the kindness, care and excellent service they provided for Mom. A memorial service will be held Monday February 12, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Bring's Broadway Chapel 6910 East Broadway, Tucson. Friends are invited to join our family in celebrating Donna's life.
